As the official retailer for Nammex, a wholesale company with 35+ years experience manufacturing medicinal mushrooms, the positive reviews and initial sales Real Mushrooms’ line of extracts generated weren’t surprising. Amazon ad campaigns, managed in-house, were supplementing sales, however; it quickly became evident that scaling sales further was something that they neither had the time nor experience to do.
Identifying major opportunities with the new, updated and feature-rich, Amazon Seller Central ad platform, Vantage Search Marketing was selected to grow Real Mushrooms’ marketing efforts.
Vantage went to work restructuring and expanding campaigns and targeting. Sponsored Product and Headline Search ads spearheaded Real Mushrooms’ paid placements on both the Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Marketing Services networks. Regular optimizations for bids, budgets, and targeting were conducted to maintain and evolve Vantage’s scaling strategy for Real Mushrooms.
By honing campaign structure and strategy towards Real Mushrooms’ ACoS goals, and then focusing on expanding reach, Vantage would position Real Mushrooms’ Amazon ad accounts for strong, sustainable growth.
Real Mushrooms experienced both a 151% increase in monthly ad revenue and a 180% increase in monthly order volume on Amazon.com during their first year partnered with Vantage. While initially a smaller source of traffic, Amazon.ca monthly ad revenue increased 1174% year-over-year and order volume increased 1100% year-over-year, turning Amazon.ca into a sizable and extremely profitable portion of Real Mushrooms’ Amazon ad revenue.
The success on Amazon encouraged Real Mushrooms to expand their portfolio to Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram Ads, which, with Vantage’s help, soon saw similar positive returns.
